VINYL CASE

Designing the case itself was a challenge because I wanted to differentiate it from the traditional vinyl slip. I focused on the materials I wanted to include in the initial stages which were wood, acrylic and magnets. I designed and crafted this vinyl holder that can be used as a display piece or to simply preserve a favorite album. Using a router and laser cutter I wanted to make this a piece that could be utilized in different ways. The process of making this vinyl case was just as exciting as the outcome.
